Amber meets Miranda

As such a popular teen star, Miranda Cosgrove certainly has a wide range of young fans, including some of Kids Wish Network’s wish kids. For one little girl named Amber, her fandom was taken to a whole new level when she was given the chance to meet her favorite celebrity in person on the set of her show, “iCarly!”

Amber, who suffers from a connective tissue disorder called Marfan Syndrome, asked Kids Wish Network if she could meet Miranda Cosgrove for her wish. To her utter delight, she was flown to Los Angeles and taken directly to the studio where “iCarly” is filmed. There, among all too familiar sets and faces, Amber met up with Miranda Cosgrove and the two had a blast talking and taking pictures.

When asked if she was nervous, Amber said she wasn’t because she felt like she knew Miranda because she watches her on the show all the time; Miranda certainly made Amber feel like a friend on-set. After taking pictures and signing autographs, Amber gave Miranda and a few other cast members gifts of hand-carved sculptures of items that reminded her of their characters in “iCarly.” Miranda and the cast just loved their gifts, and Amber simply adored her “iCarly” wish.

Upon granting Amber’s wish, Miranda Cosgrove was given a special plaque to welcome her into Kids Wish Network’s circle of “Guardian Angels,” and she is certainly a wonderful new addition to that prestigious group.
